Ikena Spotlight
The Ikena Spotlight Tool simplifies the task of preparing video evidence for presentation in court by automating the process of highlighting or obscuring subjects in the scene. Using MotionDSP’s proprietary object-tracking technology, Ikena Spotlight is able to track selected individuals and objects as they move around the scene, saving you hours of manual labor setting individual key frames (key frames can still be set manually, if desired).
Ikena Spotlight is available as an add-on option to Ikena Forensic and comes bundled with Ikena Forensic Pro (no additional charge).
The Background:
Law enforcement and security personnel often rely on video footage from sources like CCTV cameras to analyze potential crime scenes. In many cases, the person or object of interest is located in the shadows or a poorly lit area or is walking in the distance, as in the image above. In presenting videos as evidence, it can be challenging to direct the audience’s attention to relevant part of the image.
